The swirl pattern is way more striking in person than in the photos, almost like looking into a dark agate slice. The printed velvet face has a nice deep pile that catches light, while the cotton velvet back keeps it from feeling too precious to actually use.

Didn't expect the velvet to feel this thick and plush, honestly nicer than cushions I've paid double for. The cotton velvet backing is a smart touch too, keeps it from sliding around on my sofa. The swirls catch the light differently depending on where you're sitting, which I love.
