Francis Denim Jacket - Washed Black

The denim is heavier than I expected, which gives the jacket a nice structured feel without being stiff. The gold-tone hardware pops beautifully against the washed black, and the front pockets are actually deep enough to hold my phone.

That tie belt is the real hero here — cinches at the waist and suddenly it's not just another boxy denim jacket. The gold hardware against the washed black is a nice touch too, feels a bit more dressed up than my old blue one.

I was worried the washed black would look faded in person but it's a rich, deep charcoal that goes with everything. The jean jacquard gives it a cool textured look, and the gold buttons catch the light without being flashy. Wore it to dinner and got two compliments before I even sat down.
